Siniša Krajnović

Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Chairman of the Management Board

Dr. Siniša Krajnović has been the President of the Management Board of Ericsson Nikola Tesla since 1 November 2025. From 2022 to 2025, he was a Partner at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company and a key member of the global Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice. With extensive technological expertise and broad business experience, he specializes in the telecommunications industry, product research and development, and digital transformation.

Before joining McKinsey, from 2018 to 2022 he served as Executive Vice President of Ericsson for Northeast Asia, where he was responsible for the company’s software and cloud services business in China, Japan, and South Korea—markets at the forefront of innovation in telecommunications networks. He began his career in 1994 as an engineer at the Ericsson Nikola Tesla Research and Development Center, where he spent ten years working on the development of new technologies. He spent most of his career within the Ericsson Group, holding several senior leadership positions, including leading the Development Unit Networks, a global R&D organization with more than 15,000 engineers. He has extensive international leadership and technology experience, having worked in Croatia, Sweden, China, Japan, Ireland, Hungary, and the United Kingdom.

Dr. Krajnović is also actively involved in the academic community. Since 1 November 2025, he has served as President of the Economic Council of the University of Zagreb. He teaches at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM), the Luxembourg School of Business (LSB), and the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, and is a member of the program advisory boards of both ZSEM and LSB. From 2013 to 2025, he served as Co-Chair of the international IEEE SoftCOM conference and is a frequent speaker at international conferences on technology, innovation, and leadership.

He holds both a Master’s and a PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb, and has further advanced his education through executive programs at several prestigious international universities.
