Nikola Dujmović

Nikola Dujmović is the co-founder and CEO of Span, a position he has held since the company’s establishment in 1993. An engineer by profession, he constantly identifies opportunities for improvement and growth in everything he does, with a strong ability to recognize emerging global technology trends. He graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) at the University of Zagreb.

Nikola’s business philosophy is clear: believe in what you do and follow the principle of social responsibility—support the community and strive to give back more than you take. From the very beginning, Nikola recognized the importance of investing in people and their skills. As a result, Span employees today have the opportunity to expand their knowledge by working with the most advanced technologies and applying that expertise to effectively solve clients’ business challenges.

Nikola has also been responsible for Span’s expansion beyond Croatia and was the driving force behind the company’s partnership with Microsoft, which today places Span among the company’s major partners. He led the team that successfully executed the company’s IPO, which also included an ESOP program, resulting in Span’s shares being officially listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange in 2021.

Thanks to his effort and vision, Span is today an international company operating through its affiliated companies across Europe, Asia, and the United States. The company employs more than 950 experts who design, implement, and maintain complex high-availability information systems aimed at improving the security, productivity, and competitiveness of its clients.
