Slađana Ćosić
European Investment Bank, Head of the EIB Group Office in Croatia
Sladjana Ćosić is the Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group Office in Croatia. In this role, she represents and promotes the activities and interests of the EIB Group in the country, while fostering cooperation with a broad network of national, regional, and local stakeholders.
With twenty years of experience in financing projects in both the public and private sectors, she has worked on operations across the European Union, the Western Balkans, Africa, and South and East Asia. Prior to assuming her current position at the EIB, she focused on sustainable finance, ESG standards, and just transition.
Before joining the EIB, she worked at the World Bank and at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
Sladjana holds two master’s degrees—from the University of Vienna and Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C.—in the fields of social sciences, international relations, and economics.
