Hrvoje Šimović

INA, Member of the Management Board

Dr. Hrvoje Šimović was appointed Member of the Management Board of INA in September 2022, joining from the position of Full Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, where he had been employed since 2003. Prior to that, he worked at Croatia banka d.d.

Alongside his academic career, Dr. Šimović has extensive experience in consulting, particularly in the areas of public sector fiscal sustainability, assessment of fiscal effects of reforms and public policies, tax advisory, and strategic planning in the public sector.

He has worked as a consultant for numerous professional organizations, private sector companies, international institutions, consulting firms, as well as for the public sector and state-owned enterprises. He has also served as an advisor and member of several working groups of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Health.
